Since birth, being outdoors has brought me serenity and delight. Stepping outside can change my mood instantly. Being in touch with nature is essential. I am drawn to the wild, the play of texture and color, bud and decay. From seed to stem to flower and back to seed, plants exhibit incredible beauty, reminding us of what it means to be alive.

I have had the pleasure of working in landscape and garden design for over twenty years in every area from conception, to installation, to maintenance. Working closely with plants has allowed me to experience time in a deeply meaningful way and for creativity on all levels. Indoor projects have also been gratifying. The integration of architecture, light, color, fixture, finish, and adornment can create a space with a power all its own.

Whether it is a dialogue about an outdoor site or garden, an arrangement of flowers on your table, color selecting for your house, choosing or organizing belongings, I want to help identify what makes you comfortable and how to enhance your connection to beauty, time, nature, and place.

I believe that the importance of beauty and function cannot be overstated.

Good design incorporates the past, present, and future.

Each space is unique, as is each person inhabiting it, and should best represent both.
